From the beginning, you’ll work with real payroll processes, employee data and People Operations activities, learning how payroll works in practice within a fast-growing, international company.\nYou don’t need to arrive knowing everything. We’re looking for someone who is curious, comfortable with numbers, highly attentive to detail and eager to learn. We’ll give you the exposure and support to develop your expertise over time.\nIt’s a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to build a future in Payroll and People Operations and progressively become more autonomous in the role.\nLocation & ways of working: This role is based in Barcelona and follows our hybrid working model, typically 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working from home. This is not a remote position, so please apply only if you are currently based in Barcelona or willing to relocate and can commit to this hybrid setup.\nRequirements\nWhat challenges will you be solving\nLearn the payroll cycle from end to end: support the monthly payroll process, including the preparation, validation and review of payroll inputs and documentation.\n\nHelp us keep our payroll data accurate: maintain employee and payroll information across our systems and make sure changes are correctly reflected and documented.\n\nSupport the employee lifecycle: help manage the payroll and administrative side of hires, contract changes, leaves, absences and terminations.\n\nLearn Spanish labour and Social Security administration: support Social Security and other payroll-related administrative processes while developing your knowledge of Spanish payroll practices.\n\nHelp ensure payroll is right: support payroll checks and reconciliations, identify discrepancies and learn how to investigate and resolve them.\n\nKeep our payroll operations organised: maintain payroll documentation, trackers and internal controls so that information is accurate, accessible and reliable.\n\nSupport our employees: help respond to payroll-related questions and collaborate with People Operations, Finance and our external partners when needed.\n\nGrow your ownership: as your knowledge develops, progressively take responsibility for more complex payroll activities.\n\nHelp us work smarter: bring curiosity and fresh ideas to how we operate, contributing to the improvement and automation of our payroll processes.\n\nWhat you'll need\nYou’re at the beginning of your career and genuinely interested in developing your expertise in Payroll and People Operations.\n\nYou have studied or are currently studying Labour Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field.\n\nYou’re comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets and detailed information, and you naturally pay attention to accuracy.\n\nYou’re organised, proactive and curious, and you’re comfortable asking questions when you don’t know something.\n\nYou enjoy understanding how and why things work, rather than simply following a process.\n\nYou’re comfortable handling confidential information responsibly.\n\nYou can work professionally in Spanish and have a good level of English.\n\nPrevious exposure to A3innuva or other payroll software would be a plus.\n\nPrevious experience in Payroll or HR administration is welcome, but not required.
