We value working collaboratively with our internal & external customers to improve service delivery.\nAbout Your Opportunity\nYou will provide your expertise and input into operational documentation, including the development and review of procedures, work instructions and SOPs.\nKey responsibilities:\nProvide technical expertise to support and guide the Treatment Operations team with regards to controlled documents, procedures, work instructions, workflows, audits, LOTO isolation instructions, optimisation and investigations.\nDevelop, improve and update Operator training needs analysis\nStandardise Operator competency process\nRationalise operational work orders\nStandardise operational checklists\nRepresent Treatment Operations with Seqwater's internal and external quality assurance programs including audits, improvements and reporting.\nAbility to lead and train others in the application of new systems or processes.\nHours and Locations\nThe ordinary hours for this role are 38 hours per week, working a Monday to Friday pattern. Some shift work coverage may be required at times that may include weekends and Public Holidays (shift allowances apply). This position will be based within our Northern Operations Region, primarily at our North Pine WTP offices.\nAbout you\nTo be successful in this role, you will possess:\nA minimum of a Certificate III in Water Industry Operations.\nDemonstrated extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of Water Treatment Plants - preferably complex plants that include the use of modern technologies, principles and processes.\nSound knowledge and/or experience of the principles and processes involved in managing the successful delivery of projects and work packages.\nHigh level of understanding of WH&S, Environmental Protection and Water Quality requirements relevant to water treatment plant operations.\nHigh level of computer literacy for SCADA system, reporting and maintaining records related to treatment operations and operational maintenance.\nDemonstrated experience in the preparation and review of procedures, technical documents and performance reports.\nThis position will be offered on a full-time fixed term contract until February 2027 with potential for extension. The salary range for this role is between $102,738.63 to $120,527.00, plus 12.75% superannuation.\nAppointment to this role is subject to the provision of a national police check and may be subject to other medical/character requirements.
