As a Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of natural and built asset projects, managing scope, budget, schedule, risk and stakeholder outcomes. Working with contractors, consultants and internal teams, you'll drive safe, high-quality project delivery while ensuring projects are completed efficiently, compliantly and to the highest professional.\nThis Project Manager role is within Asset Sustainability in the Dams, Weirs, and Civils Project Delivery Team. The role will be delivering predominately civil and mechanical design and construction scope within a 5 year approved Program of works.\nWhat you'll bring\nQualifications in project management or similar, minimum Diploma level. level.\nAppropriate tertiary qualifications in engineering are highly desirable.\nQualifications for Corporate Membership to the Institute of Engineers Australia or Australian Institute of Project Management will be held in high regard.\nClass C Driver's Licence.\nDemonstrated successful achievement of managing the delivery of natural and built asset projects of a complex and multi-disciplinary engineering nature, preferably in a water related environment.\nExperience in managing the delivery of projects and programs, including planning, organising, executing and reporting progress.\nExperience in the development of sourcing strategies and the preparation of business cases to obtain best value, including management of the procurement process and development and execution of contracts.\nBroad knowledge of water infrastructure and treatment systems.\nExperience in Contract Management.\nProven high level knowledge of key areas of project management body of knowledge (PMBOK).\nKnowledge and experience in Australian standards and general conditions for contracting, contract law, quality assurance, environmental management and workplace health and safety management.\nProven ability to lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors to achieve corporate goals and project objectives.\nHighly developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise, influence, and negotiate with key stakeholders, external and internal clients, team members, regulatory authorities, consultation groups and other staff.\nHighly developed written communication and computer literacy skills including Project scheduling, to compile and develop professional, technical, and quality documentation and management reports on the program.\nWhy join Seqwater?\nPurpose with impact: Help protect and strengthen essential water services for Queensland communities\nInfluence at scale: Play a leading role in an organisation-wide transformation\nFlexibility and support: Work in an environment that values wellbeing, inclusion and collaboration\nRoom to grow: Access professional development and meaningful career opportunities\nRewarding benefits: Receive competitive remuneration and a strong employee benefits offering\nAbout Seqwater\nWater is essential to life-and every day, our people help make safe, reliable and sustainable water services possible for South East Queensland.
