This role coordinates cross-functional activities to ensure manufacturing campaigns, material availability, equipment readiness, quality requirements, and client deliverables are aligned to support clinical and development timelines.\nThis position serves as a key liaison between Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Project Management, Product and Process Development, Facilities, Quality Control, and Business Development to ensure efficient execution of production operations while maintaining compliance with applicable GMP regulations and internal quality standards.\nThe Manufacturing Production Planner works closely with department directors to:\nDetermine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.\nAddress issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.\nAssist in production risk assessment and mitigation activities.\nParticipate in conflict resolution with stakeholders. \nDuties & Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain detailed short-term and long-term production schedules for GMP and non-GMP manufacturing activities.\nEstablish manufacturing priorities based on business objectives, client commitments, material availability and resource constraints.\nMonitor schedule adherence and communicate schedule changes, delays, risks, and recovery plans to stakeholders.\nFacilitate weekly and daily scheduling meetings and communicate updates to cross-functional teams.\nDevelop and maintain manufacturing capacity models, identify bottlenecks and provide recommendations to improve throughput, utilization, and monthly production planning processes.\nEvaluate facility, equipment, labor, and material constraints impacting production schedules.\nMaintain accurate planning data within ERP, MES, MRP, or scheduling systems.\nRequired Skills & Abilities\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing planning and scheduling principles.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.\nExperience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms preferred.\nExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.\nEducation & Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent, and 3 years of production scheduling, planning, manufacturing operations, or supply chain experience, preferably in a GMP environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
