In addition to traditional seismic applications, our Acquisition Services team also supports the deployment of Concept Systems’ technology in emerging markets - such as logistics planning and port management - where advanced planning, monitoring, and reporting solutions offer significant value.\nThe role includes mentoring Acquisition Analysts and contributing to the ongoing technical development of our products and services.\nThis is a mixed onshore and offshore position (offshore work is conducted aboard marine seismic vessels). For the onshore elements of the role, we welcome applicants seeking hybrid, remote, or other flexible working arrangements.\nAbout the Team:\nWe are a diverse and dynamic group of 12 professionals based across the United Kingdom.\nWe work together to drive the optimisation and execution of sophisticated seismic acquisition surveys, combining our expertise across regions to drive innovation and provide impactful results.\nOur team values collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation, and we take pride in supporting each other to achieve shared goals. We work closely with our clients to deliver expertise and high-impact results.\nKey Responsibilities:\n- Office Responsibilities:\nAnalyse historic datasets to support the optimal design of future seismic acquisition surveys.\nSupport data management activities, including the handling, recording, and tracking of incoming and outgoing data.\nCommunicate with clients professionally and proactively.\nSupervise, guide, and mentor Seismic Acquisition Analysts.\nContribute to product development efforts by working closely with internal development teams.\n- Field Responsibilities:\nMonitor acquisition performance to ensure operational efficiency and data quality.\nDevelop and deliver operational acquisition plans based on the latest analysis and project requirements.\nTroubleshoot technical or operational issues, implement solutions, and provide timely reporting.\nCollaborate with development teams by providing operational feedback to support product design and improvement.\nLiaise with clients as needed to ensure clear communication and alignment.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nA mathematical, science or GIS degree, or relevant work experience in the seismic industry.\n2+ years professional experience in the seismic industry.\nPreferred:\nAbility to learn.\nStrong analytical and numerate skills.\nEffective problem solving and reporting skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals at all levels.\nFlexible and adaptable.\nAbility to cope with variable periods away from home, sometimes in challenging environments (for role including offshore work).\nWhy work with us?\nWe see things differently.
