Working alongside Senior Instructors and key Defence stakeholders, you’ll help plan, configure and execute complex simulation-based training events. Your work will directly contribute to building Navy capability through realistic, high-quality training experiences.\nAs an Assistant Instructor in the Navigation and Synthetic Warfare Training team, you’ll make a positive impact by:\nSupporting delivery of Advanced Tactical Training programs\nManaging simulator databases, entity builds and scenario design\nConfiguring and monitoring combat system trainers and communications\nConducting system operability testing and reporting technical issues\nProviding simulation support by emulating air and maritime assets\nDelivering user training and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives\nSerco is a place for you\nYou could be a great fit if you have:\nMinimum 5 years’ experience with Naval Combat Management Systems\nStrong understanding of RAN operations, doctrine and warfighting principles\nDetailed knowledge of ADF exercises and operational requirements\nExperience in Defence training environments, ideally synthetic warfare\nExcellent communication skills and confidence working with Defence stakeholders\nBe able to achieve and maintain a defence security clearance of NV2 or higher\nWillingness to obtain Certificate IV in Training and Assessment\nYou’ll also bring a relevant operational background such as Air Battlespace Manager, simulation pilot, ASW fixed or rotary wing Sensor Operator, anti-submarine aircraft controller or similar Defence capability.\nAre you ready to do important work that really matters?\nAt Serco, we bring together the right people, the right technology, and the right partners to create impactful solutions that address some of the world’s most urgent and complex challenges.\nWe focus on serving governments all over the globe.
