Working closely with Sales, subject matter experts and stakeholders, you’ll turn complex information into clear, customer-focused content that brings our solutions to life. You’ll play an important role in helping Serco deliver winning proposals that support our purpose to impact a better future.\nAs a Bid and Proposal Writer in the Capture and Proposals team, you’ll make a positive impact by:\nWorking with Sales and subject matter experts to prepare bids, tenders, EOIs and pre-qualification responses\nAnalysing client requirements and translating complex information into clear, persuasive content\nDeveloping win themes, executive summaries, cover letters and compelling bid responses\nCoordinating bid inputs, deadlines and document production to ensure high-quality submissions\nEditing and proofreading content to ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment with Serco’s voice\nManaging bid documentation and supporting continuous improvements to proposal processes and resources\nSerco is a place for you\nYou could be a great fit if you have:\nExceptional written communication, editing and proofreading skills\nStrong experience in bid writing, proposal writing, tender coordination or bid management\nExperience preparing responses to RFTs, RFQs, EOIs, RFPs and tenders\nStrong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to draw information from subject matter experts\nExcellent organisation and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines\nStrong attention to detail and confidence using Microsoft Office, SharePoint and collaboration tools\nA degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, Business or a related discipline will be highly regarded.\nExperience with government procurement, tender frameworks, APMP practices, bid libraries or commercial proposal development will also support your success. \nIn joining us, you’ll be part of a highly supportive culture with trusted leaders that will help you achieve your goals.
