These opportunities sit across key Digital leadership areas, reporting into one of the following directorates: Group CISO, Technology, Digital & Data, or Portfolio & Governance.\nAs a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in helping us understand complex business challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver meaningful change. Working across a diverse portfolio of digital, technology, cyber security, data and transformation initiatives, you will turn complex information into clear insights, requirements and recommendations that support informed decision-making and successful delivery.\nWe're looking for a collaborative and analytical professional who enjoys solving complex problems, influencing stakeholders and delivering business value. You'll understand how people, processes, data, technology and suppliers interact to deliver services and outcomes, using this insight to drive improvement and change.\nWhat you'll be doing\nInvestigating business challenges, opportunities and service needs across people, processes, data and technology.\nGathering, analysing and documenting business, user, functional and non-functional requirements.\nFacilitating workshops, interviews and stakeholder sessions to capture insights and build consensus.\nMapping current and future-state processes, services, customer journeys and information flows.\nIdentifying risks, dependencies, gaps and opportunities for improvement.\nProducing high-quality analysis artefacts including requirements documentation, user stories, process maps, decision papers and acceptance criteria.\nSupporting option appraisals, business cases and benefits realisation activities.\nActing as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear and accessible language.\nContributing to governance, assurance and continuous improvement activities across Group Digital.\nWhat we're looking for\nEssential\nProven Business Analysis experience within digital, technology, cyber security, engineering, data, portfolio or business transformation environments.\nStrong expertise in requirements definition, analysis, documentation and lifecycle management.\nExperience in process modelling, service modelling, impact analysis, options appraisal and benefits definition.\nAbility to interpret complex, incomplete or conflicting information and produce clear, actionable recommendations.\nExperience creating business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and decision-making documentation.\nExcellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, communication and influencing skills.\nExperience working within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.\nOrganised with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outputs.\nComfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.\nDesirable\nProfessional Business Analysis qualification (BCS, IIBA or equivalent).\nExperience with target operating models, business architecture, service design or capability modelling.\nExperience supporting testing, implementation, business change and benefits realisation activities.\nExperience working within regulated, security-conscious, outsourced or large-scale organisations.\nFamiliarity with analysis, collaboration and backlog management tools.\nBenefits\nPension 6% employer matched\nAnnual leave 25 days + bank holidays\nLife assurance 2x base salary if in pension, (1x if not)\nFlexible working to support work-life balance\nOther notable benefits:\nEmployee Assistance Programme\n30% Serco Leisure Centre Discount\nOption to buy additional leave\nCharitable payroll giving\nA wide range of discounts\nA little bit about us:\nAt Serco, everyone plays a vital part in delivering essential public services that make a real difference.
