The cleaning team plays a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the cleanliness of all facilities across the site. Flexibility is essential, as team members may be assigned to any area within the contract site. The role involves delivering services to agreed standards in all assigned areas, as directed by the Cleaning Team Leader or Cleaning Manager.\nThe ideal candidates should demonstrate effective teamwork skills, be self-motivated, and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. They should also be capable of prioritising and managing their personal workload efficiently.\nThis role is part of our MELABS contract in Dubai, UAE.\nKey Accountabilities\nDeliver cleaning and related customer services to the agreed standards as defined in the service level specifications within the specified areas.\nClean to a satisfactory and proven hygienic standard by following work procedures that incorporate all quality standards set by our client, as well as recognized industry best practices and guidance.\nComplete all tasks as trained and instructed.\nEmpty, dispose of, and replace liners for all waste types according to training guidelines.\nEnsure waste is disposed of correctly according to type and relevant regulations.\nMaintain high standards of personal hygiene and infection control.\nParticipate as a full member of the wider team by supporting colleagues and working flexibly to assist other team members.\nEnsure customer satisfaction.\nCommunicate effectively with staff at all levels.\nAssist and liaise with Cleaning Team Leaders and the Cleaning Manager.\nSpecific Requirements\nPrevious experience in a similar role is an advantage.\nFamiliarity with cleaning methodologies.\nPreferably holds a High School Diploma.\nRequires knowledge of cleaning methods, working practices, and HSQE requirements.\nKnowledge of cleaning machinery and equipment.\nGood command of the English language; Arabic language skills are an advantage.\nStrong customer focus.\nPhysically fit and in good health, due to long periods of mobile work across a large-scale site.\nJoin Us\nAt Serco, we believe there is a place here for everyone.
