This is a high-profile opportunity to provide commercial leadership throughout mobilisation, ensuring contractual obligations, risks, governance and stakeholder relationships are managed effectively from contract award through to service commencement.\nThis role will suit a commercially astute individual who has successfully supported large-scale mobilisation, transition or transformation programmes and is comfortable operating in fast-paced, complex and highly regulated environments. NEC experience is essential, as you will act as the commercial lead on NEC contractual arrangements and provide expert guidance to programme and operational teams throughout the mobilisation lifecycle.\nAs part of this you’ll:\nLead commercial activities associated with the mobilisation of a major public sector contract.\nAct as the subject matter expert for NEC contractual mechanisms and provide guidance across the programme.\nEstablish and maintain effective commercial governance, assurance and reporting processes.\nSupport programme teams in interpreting contractual obligations, milestones, dependencies and acceptance criteria.\nLead commercial engagement with customers, subcontractors and key stakeholders.\nDraft, negotiate and manage contractual correspondence, agreements, variations and change control activity.\nIdentify, assess and mitigate commercial risks throughout mobilisation.\nSupport procurement and subcontracting activities, ensuring commercial alignment and value for money.\nDevelop management information and reporting for senior governance forums.\nSupport mobilisation leadership teams with commercial decision-making and strategic advice.\nFacilitate effective transition from mobilisation into operational service delivery.\nWhat you’ll need to do the role:\nSignificant experience managing complex commercial or public sector contracts.\nDemonstrable experience supporting large-scale mobilisation, transition or transformation programmes.\nStrong commercial contracts background with proven contract management experience.\nEssential experience working with NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts, including practical application and administration.\nStrong understanding of commercial risk management, governance and change control.\nExperience operating within regulated, critical service or complex programme environments.\nExcellent contractual drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to influence senior stakeholders and customers.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capability.\nAbility to work at pace whilst managing competing priorities and programme deadlines.\nWhy Serco:\nMeaningful and vital work: In this position, you'll play a key role in one of Secure Justice & Immigration's most significant mobilisation programmes.
