You’ll play a vital role in improving patient and staff safety across Fiona Stanley Hospital.\nAs a Patient Handling Trainer, you’ll make a positive impact by:\nDelivering and assessing training programs and competencies in patient handling and Aggression Prevention Intervention - API2\n\nAssisting in risk minimisation strategies related to patient handling tasks\n\nCompleting safety observation assessments and competencies\n\nMaintaining training statistics and supporting LMS course management and participant resulting\n\nEnsuring training delivery meets Serco and WA Health quality standards\n\nProviding guidance using a risk management approach\n\nContributing to continuous improvement and upholding HRMS values\n\nSerco is a place for you\nYou could be a great fit if you have:\nDemonstrated experience in a healthcare environment\n\nExperience delivering and assessing patient handling or aggression prevention-related training\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\n\nStrong customer focus and ability to build effective relationships\n\nAbility to work autonomously and within a team\n\nAbility to adapt quickly to new training processes and technologies\n\nKnowledge of WHS and ergonomic principles relevant to manual handling and aggression management\n\nWorkplace First Aid certification including current CPR\n\nBachelor qualification in human movement, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing or related field, or working towards this (desirable)\n\nIn joining us, you’ll be part of a highly supportive culture with trusted leaders that will help you achieve your goals.
