You’ll help colleagues make the right buying decisions, ensure suppliers are onboarded correctly, maintain high-quality data, and contribute to a seamless procurement experience.\nIf you’re detail-driven, customer-focused and enjoy helping others work smarter, this role offers the chance to make a visible impact at scale within a global organisation.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nYou’ll join our Global Purchase to Pay (P2P) Team, supporting colleagues and suppliers through the full source-to-pay journey. Your role will be varied, fast paced and key to ensuring governance, system accuracy and an excellent internal customer experience.\nBuying Support / Helpdesk\n\nAct as a first-line contact for procurement queries - via phone, email and support channels\nAdvise on policy, preferred suppliers, buying routes and correct procurement practices\nManage and track helpdesk tickets, ensuring resolution, clarity and customer satisfaction\nInvestigate issues, resolve system/process queries and drive first-time fix where possible\nSupplier Onboarding & Vendor Management\n\nSupport business teams through the onboarding of new suppliers\nReview onboarding forms, identify risk indicators and complete due diligence checks\nIssue forms based on risk profile and guide suppliers through completion\nGather procurement and business approvals before onboarding is confirmed\nManage changes to supplier master data, including fraud verification checks\nData Management & Continuous Improvement\n\nMaintain high-quality procurement data, content and P2P system records\nEnsure data remains aligned across platforms and meets accuracy standards\nWork with AP, Procurement and tech teams to resolve data issues quickly\nIdentify recurring problems, process gaps or inefficiencies and recommend improvements\nSupport testing and rollout of new processes and system changes\nWhat You’ll Bring:\n\nWe are looking for someone who:\nHas GCSE level English or equivalent experience\nHas worked in Procurement Ops, Finance or a high-volume Customer Service environment\nCan follow process accurately with strong attention to detail\nCommunicates clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels\nThrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of resolutions\nCan identify operational improvements and help embed change\nDesirable: working knowledge of e-procurement or contract management systems\nWhy join Serco?\nAt Serco, we work across some of the most complex and meaningful public service environments.
