This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineering professional to help lead the delivery of critical maintenance services within a busy healthcare environment.\nAbout the Role\nReporting to the Site Engineer, you will supervise a multi-skilled maintenance workforce delivering reactive and planned maintenance, minor works, and project activities across the hospital estate. You will play a key role in ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining critical engineering systems, and supporting the safe operation of hospital services.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and supervise maintenance teams and contractors.\nManage planned preventative maintenance and reactive works.\nSupport the safe operation of critical electrical and mechanical systems.\nEnsure compliance with health, safety and statutory requirements.\nProvide technical guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders.\nParticipate in the management on-call rota.\nAssist with the delivery of improvement and refurbishment projects. \nAbout You\nWe are looking for a qualified engineering professional with:\nHNC/HND, apprenticeship, NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent engineering qualification.\nExperience in mechanical, electrical, or building services maintenance.\nPrevious supervisory or team leadership experience.\nStrong knowledge of health and safety and safe systems of work.\nExcellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.\nThe ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and safety-critical environment. \nWhat You'll Bring\nYou will be a proactive leader who can prioritise workloads, support colleagues, and maintain high standards of service delivery while ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
