In this role, you'll translate technical requirements into compelling product designs, working closely with our Mechanical Engineering team to ensure your designs are both visually strong and grounded in engineering reality.\nYour Responsibilities\nDesign and Concept Development:\nDesign housings, enclosures, and user-facing components for autonomous robot systems, balancing aesthetics, ergonomics, and brand identity.\n\nDevelop concept sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design intent to stakeholders.\n\nTranslate design concepts into manufacturable geometry in close collaboration with Mechanical Engineers.\n\n Collaboration and Iteration:\nWork hand-in-hand with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to ensure designs integrate seamlessly with internal components.\n\nBuild and evaluate prototypes (foam, 3D-printed, or CNC) to validate form, fit, and user experience.\n\nIterate designs based on manufacturability, cost, and technical feedback.\n\nQualifications & Requirements\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.\n\nStrong portfolio demonstrating both aesthetic sensibility and technical understanding of materials and manufacturing.\n\nProficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, or similar) and rendering tools (KeyShot, Blender).\n\nSolid understanding of manufacturing processes (injection molding, sheet metal, CNC, 3D printing).\n\nAbility to work at the intersection of design and engineering, and to communicate design decisions to a technical audience.\n\nYour Application\nUpload 1 PDF file including 2-3 examples of your design work: drawings, pictures, models, products or similar.
