In this role, you'll create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for fabrication, collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration with electrical and software systems, conduct mechanical simulations and performance testing, and optimize designs for cost, efficiency, and manufacturability.\nYour Responsibilities:\nDesign and Testing:\nDesign mechanical systems and components for AI-driven robots.\n\nCreate detailed 3D models and technical drawings for fabrication.\n\nCollaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components with electrical and software systems.\n\nOptimize designs for cost, efficiency, and manufacturability.\n\nQualifications & Requirements:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computational Mechanics, Engineering Science or related field.\n\n1+ year of experience in mechanical design, ideally in robotics or automation.\n\nExperience in industrial design or special purpose machinery is a plus\n\nProficiency with CAD tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo or similar.\n\nUnderstanding of mechanical testing and prototyping processes.\n\nStrong knowledge of material properties, manufacturing methods, and system integration.\n\nWillingness to travel ≈ 25% desirable\n\nOur interview plan:\nApplication\n\nTake-home assignment: You’ll work on a short, role-relevant task with clear instructions and a deadline.\n\nCultural fit interview (40 min): A conversation about how you work, what motivates you, and what you’re looking for.
