In this hands-on leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, efficiency, and employee engagement. This position combines production leadership with direct involvement in manufacturing operations and serves as a key resource for training, coaching, and supporting team members.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead and support production employees to ensure daily production goals are achieved.\n\nPromote and enforce a safe work environment, including safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and accident reporting requirements.\n\nEnsure quality standards are met and empower team members to address quality concerns.Review production schedules, job tickets, and work priorities, communicating expectations clearly to the team.\n\nCoordinate shift handoffs and communicate production updates, challenges, and workload changes with management.\n\nMonitor production performance and operational efficiency, maintaining accurate records and identifying opportunities for improvement.\n\nTrain, coach, and develop employees while supporting performance management activities.\n\nConduct regular team meetings to share information, address concerns, and promote engagement.\n\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and company quality systems.\n\nEnsure environmental and material-handling procedures are followed.\n\nAssist with equipment setup, adjustments, minor repairs, and machine operation as needed.\n\nQualifications\nPreferred Skills and Abilities\nKnowledge of manufacturing safety practices, housekeeping standards, and PPE requirements.\nAbility to interpret production tickets and manufacturing documentation.\nUnderstanding of departmental procedures and company policies.\nAbility to enter and maintain information in production tracking systems.\nStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nEducation & Experience\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred.\nPrevious supervisory or management experience preferred.\nManufacturing experience strongly preferred.\nWhat We're Looking For\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who leads by example, builds strong working relationships with employees, and is committed to maintaining a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
