You will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to make sure our database systems are reliable, scalable, and well-tuned.\n*Thai nationals apply only*\nIn this role, you will get to:\nDesign and planning: Work with development teams on database design, server sizing, capacity planning, and performance testing.\nImplementation: Build and configure database servers across all layers, including storage, operating system, and database.\nOperations: Manage installation, configuration, backup and recovery, replication, and day-to-day monitoring.\nPerformance tuning: Find and fix performance bottlenecks to keep systems running well.\nInformation lifecycle management: Manage data retention, archiving, and purging in line with company policy.\nSecurity and compliance: Apply and maintain database security controls that meet organizational and industry standards.\nMonitoring and troubleshooting: Track database errors, bugs, and incidents, and resolve them promptly.\nCapacity management: Monitor database usage and growth, and recommend capacity improvements.\nStandards and documentation: Develop and maintain DBA standards, procedures, and best practices.\n You’ll be successful if you have:\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\nAt least 3 years of IT experience, with hands-on DBA experience in Oracle or DB2 on Unix/Linux.\nExperience with database monitoring, diagnostic, and performance tuning tools.\nExperience with replication and high-availability solutions such as Oracle Data Guard, DB2 HADR, or third-party tools.\nExperience with maintaining Oracle Exadata and information lifecycle management tools.\nKnowledge of database development and IT infrastructure, including OS, storage, network, or security.\nStrong communication and negotiation skills.\nSelf-motivated, with a commitment to continuous learning.\nAPPLY NOW!\nSertis may collect, use, or disclose your personal data or personal data of other persons provided by you in order to carry out your recruitment process.
