Welcome and be the primary point of contact for our customers in getting their service needs completed in a timely and efficient manner.\nLearn more about our service consultant position by visiting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FB5wHc7biQg\nResponsibilities:\nWelcome customers and determine which vehicle services are needed\nWork as a liaison between our technicians and customers to provide them an understanding of the work that needs to be completed on their vehicle\nInspect customer vehicle records and sight inspect vehicle to assess if additional services are needed\nProvide accurate cost and time estimates and obtain customer’s approval\nMonitor status of vehicle service/repair and keep customer informed\nBook and close repair orders on a timely basis\nArrange for customer loaner vehicles if needed\nFollow-up on back ordered parts and contact customer to schedule return appointment\nCheck to ensure all items the customer requested was completed and payment is made before returning the vehicle to the customer\nRequirements:\nHigh school graduate or equivalent\nMinimum one year of sales or customer service experience\nGeneral mechanical knowledge gained either through work experience or education\nStrong communication and customer relations skills\nStrong attention to detail\nAbility to multi-task and meet deadlines\nValid driver’s license and strong driving record\nAuto dealership service writing experience preferred\nService Consultants receive a $2000 a month guaranteed base salary and a competitive incentive program.
