This is the perfect role for a tax professional who can take initiative, likes to think outside the box, and has the desire to learn and grow.\nResponsibilities:\nPrepare key components of our global income tax provision for our annual financial statements and periodic tax forecasts for management reporting purposes\nPartner with tax and finance team members on our U.S. Federal and state income tax returns and other tax compliance efforts\nContinuously monitor tax developments that may impact the company, and ensure that key tax positions are thoroughly researched, properly applied, and well documented\nProvide sound tax guidance to internal business partners who consult with the tax department on day-to-day transactions as well as larger business initiatives\nCoordinate with our external tax providers on international tax reporting efforts and perform critical review over deliverables\nContribute to cross-functional projects to ensure that tax department requirements are met\nIdentify and execute on both process improvement and tax savings opportunities that are accretive in value to the company\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field of study\nMinimum of five years of work experience at a leading accounting firm serving larger corporate clients (Big 4 or mid-tier firm experience is a plus) and/or an in-house tax department at a mid- to large-sized company\nExperience with U.S. corporate and partnership income taxation, including an understanding of core tax technical principles (e.g. income and expense recognition, state tax concepts, international tax concepts)\nPrior experience with OneSource tax software is a plus\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nAbout Servco:\nAt Servco, we’re committed to providing valuable mobility solutions to empower people through the freedom of movement and opportunity.
