We believe that the best way to solve complicated dynamic problems is collaboratively and respectfully.\nJOB OVERVIEW\nThe Accountant supports the company's accounting operations by maintaining accurate financial records, performing assigned close activities, and preparing financial reports. The role executes and monitors key accounting processes, partners with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, supports audits, and helps maintain compliance with GAAP, SOX requirements, internal controls, and company policies.\nJOB DUTIES\nOversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy.\n\nPerform account reconciliations, including bank, accounts payable, and accounts receivable reconciliations, and resolve identified discrepancies.\n\nPrepare and post journal entries and maintain an accurate and current general ledger.\n\nReview, classify, and record expenses in accordance with company policies and applicable budget guidelines.\n\nOversee key accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory, accruals, and prepaid expenses.\n\nSupport internal and external audits by preparing documentation and providing timely, accurate responses to requests.\n\nMonitor accounting activities for compliance with GAAP, SOX requirements, internal controls, and established company procedures.\n\nIdentify and recommend process improvements that strengthen controls and increase the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations.\n\nEXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, & SKILLS\nRequired Experience, Qualifications, and Skills\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical accounting experience.\n\n5+ years of full accounting experience\n\nProficiency with accounting software such as Xero or NetSuite and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.\n\nWorking knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, or GAAP, and a strong understanding of Sarbanes Oxley compliance processes, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements.\n\nStrong organizational, time management, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and partner effectively across teams.\n\nHigh degree of accuracy and analytical ability, including the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve accounting discrepancies and process inefficiencies.\n\nPreferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills\nProgress toward CPA certification.\n\nExperience with a publicly traded company or public accounting firm.\n\nExperience in a startup or other fast paced environment.\n\nExperience with robotics, manufacturing, or technology companies, including exposure to inventory management or cost accounting processes.\n\nDemonstrated ability to adapt and operate effectively in a dynamic, collaborative
