We believe that the best way to solve complicated dynamic problems is collaboratively and respectfully.\nJOB OVERVIEW\nAs an Operations Coordinator at Serve Robotics, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations across our commercial delivery network. Your main objective will be to execute against established strategies, manage the flow of day-to-day activities, and identify opportunities to streamline and strengthen operational processes. You will support the team by ensuring procedures are followed consistently, operational goals are met, and metrics are tracked with accuracy.\nIn this role, you will focus on operational execution first, while also proposing and implementing incremental improvements that drive efficiency, reliability, and scalability. You will collaborate closely with supervisors and leadership to align your work with the broader operational strategy, ensuring that our delivery network runs seamlessly and consistently delivers on performance targets.\nJOB DUTIES\nOversee and execute daily deployments by coordinating between Field Agents and Piloting teams to ensure on-time robot operations.\n\nMonitor live operations and resolve issues in real time, escalating problems as needed to minimize service disruptions.\n\nEnsure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) by reinforcing adherence to established workflows, safety protocols, and quality measures.\n\nOpen or close depots in accordance with scheduled shift.\n\nTrack and report key operational metrics (deployment efficiency, service uptime, utilization, etc.) to measure efficiency and highlight areas for improvement.\n\nImplement new processes and protocols as directed, ensuring successful rollout, team adoption, and compliance across all operational teams.\n\nAssist the Sr. Operations Supervisor in daily decision-making to help prioritize resources, balance workloads, and execute test plans.\n\nSupport onboarding and training of new Operations Associates, ensuring consistency in role expectations, SOPs, and performance standards.\n\nProvide ad hoc operational support across field operations, piloting, and project initiatives to maintain continuity of service and execution.\n\nEXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, & SKILLS\nRequired Experience, Qualifications, and Skills\nBachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience (3+ years in operations, logistics, or customer service)\n\nStrong organizational, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to remain calm under pressure with a proactive, can-do attitude toward challenges.\n\nDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.\n\nComfort with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)\n\nWillingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as operations require.\n\nComfortable driving mid-size utility vehicles as needed.\n\nValid U.S. driver’s license.\n\nAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidays\n\nPreferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills\nPrevious experience in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment\n\nExperience with schedule creation, resource planning, or forecasting\n\nDirect customer-facing experience (field or service-based)\n\nAbility to analyze data and report on operations through Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)\n\nStrong passion for efficiency, innovation, and robotics\n\nAdditional Information\nThis role is onsite and field-based, with ad hoc movement between depots, deployment zones, and customer locations. Candidates should be comfortable with standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs as part of daily operations. Occasional evening and weekend shifts may be required to support deployments and testing schedules.\n\nSafety compliance: Adherence to PPE rules, strict cell phone protocols, and dress codes (high-visibility vests, safe footwear) is mandated.\n\nOperations Coordinators must be prepared to perform duties in various weather conditions, including inclement weather.\n\nThis role may require the operation of company vehicles or e-bikes for work-related purposes.
