Drives implementation and completion of corrective actions, including corrective actions developed from other site incidents\nCollaborate with various stakeholders to drive key plant safety initiatives\nMaintain documentation of the company's safety procedures, accidents and related events\nAct as a liaison between management and external safety agencies, such as fire and insurance personnel\nAdditional duties as assigned\nKnowledge/Skills/Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in safety, manufacturing/logistics or engineering a plus\n3+ years’ experience in safety, operations or related experience preferred\nSafety Certification (OHST/CHST etc.) strongly preferred\nProven ability to interact and provide insight and influence at all levels of the organization in leading and encouraging company initiatives and work practices\nExpertise with Microsoft Suite and auditor safety software\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presenting abilities\nUnderstanding of federal, state and city safety requirements, including but not limited to OSHA regulations\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time while meeting deadlines and with dedication to the highest level of excellence\nInterpersonal skills, with the ability to establish effective professional relationships with employees and plant leadership\nLeadership skills, such as the ability to motivate a team and provide feedback\nDemonstrated ability principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
