This is a hands-on technical consultant who can go wide and deep on solution delivery and solution positioning during sales cycles.\nThis role is the technical face of Platform and AI in the region\nBuilds POCs, and accelerators using Platform and AI Agents\nExperiment with LLM improvements, Agentic orchestration, & workflow optimisation\nDevelop reusable components for regional consumption\nMapped to opportunity AI Solution Architects in sprints to support POCs\nCreate knowledge assets that scale team and field capability\nWhat you get to do in this role:\nThe Solution Consultant is a technical consultant with the advanced ability to develop, position and provide product-specific solutions during sales cycles while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory.\nSupport product sales as a technical and domain expert of a client-facing sales team\nLead discovery workshops to determine customers' challenges and give product demonstrations to align our solution with customer needs\nAnswer product feature and technical questions from customers, channel partners and ServiceNow colleagues\nProvide feedback to product management about product enhancements that can address customer needs and provide additional value\nShare and learn best practices and re-usable assets with other Solution Consultants to enhance the quality and efficiency of the team\nStay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation\nSupport marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows\n To be successful in this role you have:\nExperience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.\n10+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience\nHands-on experience designing and building agentic AI applications - multi-agent orchestration, RAG, prompt and context engineering, evaluation.\nProficiency with agent frameworks and modern LLM tooling.\nStrong understanding of enterprise integration, APIs, data pipelines, and security/governance considerations for AI\nProven ability to work directly with customers and translate business problems into technical solutions\nProficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise with cloud software solutions\nExcellent communication skills across both engineering and executive audiences.\nExperience working collaboratively with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services\nTerritory management skills, including pipeline building and working with Sales counterpart to guide execution excellence\nTravel, as necessary\nFD21\n Work Personas\nWe approach our distributed world of work with flexibility and trust.
