This is a field engineering role-not sales engineering-focused on hands-on deployment, troubleshooting, and driving real product outcomes inside customer environments.\nYou will work directly with customer engineering teams to implement, configure, and optimize our Application Security (AppSec) solutions. Your mission is simple: make customers successful, remove friction, and ensure the product delivers real value in production.\nWhat You’ll Do\nCustomer Deployment & Enablement\nLead hands-on deployment, configuration, and integration of AppSec solutions in customer environments\n\nWork directly with developers, engineering managers, and security teams to operationalize the platform\n\nEnsure customers move from initial setup to advanced use cases quickly\n\nField Engineering & Troubleshooting\nAct as the front line for technical problem-solving in real-world environments\n\nDebug issues across infrastructure, APIs, and application layers\n\nIdentify product gaps and, when needed, fix bugs or contribute code alongside engineering\n\nCustomer Success & Adoption\nDrive successful outcomes across multiple customers simultaneously\n\nKeep high-value customers engaged, productive, and expanding usage\n\nPartner closely with Customer Success on POVs, onboarding, and adoption strategies\n\nProduct Feedback & Improvement\nGather real-world usage insights and translate them into actionable product feedback\n\nCollaborate with engineering to improve usability, performance, and scalability\n\nHelp make the product easier to deploy, configure, and operate\n\nWhat You Bring\n4-8+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or field engineering roles\n\nStrong experience with Application Security (AppSec) concepts (SAST, DAST, APIs, vulnerabilities)\n\nHands-on experience with APIs, cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure), and modern architectures\n\nAppSec Expert & POV Expertise is required for this role\n\nAbility to troubleshoot complex technical issues across the stack\n\nComfortable working directly with developers and engineering leadership\n\nWillingness to travel 25-50% to engage customers on-site\n\nFor positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $196,00 - $258,550 plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
