Your mission: ensure seamless uptime, scalability, and security across all systems-while enabling rapid, automated provisioning and innovation.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient production infrastructure across cloud environments.\n\nDrive system-wide automated alerting and monitoring strategies for infrastructure and database environments.\n\nOwn the uptime and reliability of large-scale systems, including databases and distributed services.\nCollaborate with DevOps, Engineering, Product, Security, and Operations teams to scale and secure our cloud-native platform.\n\nEnforce security and compliance best practices (e.g., FedRAMP, SOC 2) throughout the SDLC.\nEvaluate and lead proof-of-concept projects for new tools or services that strengthen system performance and security posture.\nBuild Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.\n\nMaintain detailed documentation and provide on-call support for incident resolution and recovery.\n\n Requirements\nUS Citizenship (Required)\n\n5+ years of experience managing Linux servers in a global, cloud-based environment.\n\n3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud services.\n\n5+ years of experience with Python and Kubernetes in production environments.\n\nProven experience managing in production, including troubleshooting cluster performance, auto-scaling, and service reliability.\n\nExpertise in large-scale systems operations and database reliability engineering (DBRE).\n\nStrong understanding of automated alerting, incident triage, and monitoring best practices.\n\nDeep knowledge of networking (e.g., routing tables, service mesh, CNI).\n3+ years experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.\n\nAbility to independently manage tasks, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n\nExperience with AI Ops platforms or ML-driven observability tools, resource optimization, and security incident response.\n\nKnowledge of LLM-based infrastructure automation or code generation tools (e.g., for IaC policy validation, documentation generation).\n\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with government-related projects requiring US citizenship.\n\nBackground in security and compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, GDPR, or SOC 2.\nExperience in sensitive or restricted environments (e.g., FIPS, SELinux, air-gapped).\n\nPrior roles focused on database reliability engineering\n\nFor positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $190,900 - $298,000 plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
