SCOPE OF ROLE:The Assistant Team Leader supports the Team Leader in providing leadership and direct activities of a mobile multi-disciplinary treatment team.\nII. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupports the Team leader in directing and supervising staff activities\nEnforces timely and effective communication\nLeads team organizational and service planning meetings in absence of team leader\nProvides direction to staff regarding individual cases\nConducts side-by-side contacts with staff\nConducts individual supervision meetings with team leader\nAvailable by cell phone for emergency consultation/crisis intervention\n50% of their time to direct participant services as a member of the clinical staff\n50% of their time to administrative and supervisory duties\nEnsure that over time team members will cross train one another so that each team member has the capacity to engage participants with regard to the entirety of roles and functions of the team as a whole\nEnsure staff share responsibilities for the recipients and for charting\nSupports staff in all areas of writing service plans\nActively participates in all activities in revising service plans as the participant’s needs change\nAssures that advocacy for the rights and preferences of the participant are conducted\nResponsibility for the recipients of ACT services and for the charting of services\nAdvocating for the rights and preferences of the participant whenever possible\nParticipates in an on-call rotation\nAdditional responsibilities as assigned by immediate supervisor or division head\nQualifications\nIII. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nMaster’s degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, or a related field or licensure/registration as a registered nurse preferred. Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, or a related field required.\nMust have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.\nProficient in MS Word/Excel.
