These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.\nInstall, inspect, repair, and perform preventative maintenance to advanced mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management systems.\nProvide lead efforts for complex construction, logistics and/or coordination projects.\nAssist with various facility projects including painting, drywall, carpentry, and fixture installations.\nMove furniture or materials within the facilities building portfolio.\nConduct building inspections and maintain compliance logs.\nAdditional Responsibilities\nAssist contractors to complete projects or complex repairs and events coordination.\nTrain junior personnel.\nUtilize work order system to log activities as required.\nPerform other responsibilities as assigned.\nQualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)\nHigh school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.\n4-6 years of experience in general building maintenance required. Experience may be substituted with at least 2 years’ experience and additional specialized training and/or certification(s).\nValid driver’s license and/or access to reliable transportation to perform work-related travel required. Eligible drivers must have a good motor vehicle record (MVR).\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nAbility to utilize standard office equipment to include copiers, fax machines, etc. \nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and act upon those conclusions as may be deemed necessary. \nAbility to work independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.\nMust have proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to Facilities.\nMust be a well-organized, self-directed, articulate team player able to relate to customers and employees at all levels. \nMust demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. \nAbility to speak to others and convey information effectively.\nMust be familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
