This role includes direct supervision of Zone Supervisors and FOH staff, with responsibility for staffing, training, safety compliance, and quality assurance. The Supervisor exercises independent judgment in daily operations and supports strategic planning and continuous improvement.\nPrimaryDuties\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.\nManage Zone Supervisors and FOH staff, assisting with hiring and performance evaluations, and foster a positive work environment through coaching and conflict resolution.\n\nDevelop and maintain training programs for FOH associates, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety, sanitation, and service standards.\n\nSupervise daily food service operations, monitor equipment and food safety logs, and ensure consistent quality and compliance during all meal periods.\n\nOversee cash handling procedures and assist with food and supply procurement, ensuring cost-effective practices aligned with budgetary goals.\n\nLead initiatives in safety, sanitation, equipment maintenance, and quality control, while collaborating with leadership to refine operational procedures.\n\nAdditionalResponsibilities\nPost daily menus for the current/next day meals and post forecast for the team to see the upcoming amount of forecasted guests arriving.\n\nPerform daily facility inspections and forward reports of deficiencies to the Unit Manager or General Manager.\n\nPerform pre-service meeting with FOH Associates daily to go over any new concerns or issues that are of importance.\n\nPerform personnel hygiene and unumiform inspections during daily pre-shift meetings\n\nPerform Quality Control inspections in all areas of the contract daily with Xenia or on the paper copy if unable to use the phone based inspection.\n\nCoordinate and assign staff to workstations throughout the shift, ensuring roles are rotated regularly to promote cross-training and prevent task fatigue .\n\nFollow all safety rules of your work site. Report all unsafe conditions or accidents to your supervisor and follow all Safety protocols and procedures. Practice standard precautions (formerly universal precautions) at all times.\n\nPerform other responsibilities as assigned.\n\nQualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s )\nHigh school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.Some college preferred.\n\nFive years’ experience in managing a cafeteria or multi-full food service facility preferred.\n\nServe-Safe Manager Certification or ability to obtain within six months required.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nMust be thoroughly knowledgeable in the following areas: sanitation, conducting training, security, food preparation, customer relations, menu selection, safety and accident prevention, equipment maintenance.\n\nMust have the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community and environment.\n\nAdhere to all local, state and federal safety and environmental codes, ordinances, standards and laws.
