Supporting customers across Europe, Africa and India, you'll lead technical solution development during the bid process, ensuring every proposal is technically sound, commercially competitive and fully deliverable.\nWorking closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations and Regional Design Authorities, you'll assess feasibility, buildability, compliance and risk to create solutions that can be successfully executed across our global organisation.\nLocation: Crowborough, East Sussex\nSalary: £48,000 to £60,000\nHybrid - three days/week onsite after initial probation phase\nWhat you'll be doing\nLeading technical solution development during bids, defining requirements, scope, assumptions, risks and delivery approaches.\nDesigning practical and executable solutions centred around sampling systems, process instrumentation and integrated engineered systems.\nCreating Bills of Materials (BoMs), cost models, pricing recommendations and technical proposal documentation.\nAssessing technical feasibility, buildability, compliance requirements and execution risks.\nSupporting proposal governance reviews and ensuring regional approval prior to customer submission.\nProducing Bid Design Packs and providing seamless handover into project execution.\nDriving continuous improvement through lessons learned, standardisation and design best practice.\nWhat we're looking for\nProven experience designing sampling systems and engineered process solutions.\nStrong systems engineering, systems integration or application engineering background.\nExperience developing technical proposals, cost estimates and commercial bid packages.\nStrong understanding of engineering governance, risk management and project execution.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across global teams.\nAutoCAD - or other CAD software\nOccasional travel within Europe/globally.\nDesirable Experience\nGas analysis and analytical instrumentation\nProcess instrumentation and automation\nAnalyser houses / analyser shelters\nHazardous area systems (ATEX / IECEx)\nIntegrated engineered solutions\nQualifications\nDegree (or equivalent qualification) in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.\nChartered Engineer (CEng) status or relevant professional accreditation would be advantageous.\nWhy Servomex?\nJoin a global leader in gas analysis technology and help create solutions that improve safety, efficiency and sustainability across industries worldwide.
