This role ensures architectural integrity, cross-domain alignment, and the successful introduction of new technologies and services for both GEO and MEO constellations. You will collaborate closely with various SES departments mainly Product & Innovation, Service Delivery, as well as Operations to translate complex requirements into imple-mentable, scalable, and efficient designs. This role is based on Chennai, India.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS\n▲ Lead Ground Engineering related architectural design and technical discoveries as part of the SES product development/definition process\n▲ Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate, select, and integrate new ground desings and solu-tions as part of product development\n▲ Define and document system architectures including Platforms, RF, and network integration aspects\n▲ Develop architecture documentation including block diagrams, interface definitions, and design guidelines\n▲ Ensure system interoperability and performance through validation planning and technical re-views\n▲ Maintain architectural documentation and workflows in Azure DevOps or equivalent tools\nQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE\n▲ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field\n▲ 8+ years of experience in satellite ground systems, covering RF, Platform, and Modem technol-ogies\n▲ Experience of Satellite RF communications systems (MEO and GEO)\n▲ Proficiency in IP protocols, TCP, UDP, RTP, MEF, routing and switching protocols\n▲ Experience with Design and documentation tools, Visio, DevOps, MS Office set\n▲ Familiarity with link budgets, RF subsystems, and baseband platform architectures\n▲ Certifications in relevant technologies or systems integration are an advantage\n\nSES and its Affiliated Companies are committed to providing fair and equal employment opportunities to all.
