{"id":2427090,"url":"https://alion.io/job/ses-field-services-representative-eastern-europe","title":"Field Services Representative - Eastern Europe","company":{"id":54618,"name":"SES","domain":"ses.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/ses-com","size_band":"1001-5000","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"SuccessFactors","truth_index":null},"role":"Field & Service","role_family":"Field & Service","seniority":"middle","employment_type":null,"work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Bucharest, Romania"],"countries":["RO"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":{"min_usd":14500,"max_usd":32000,"period":"year","method":"global_role_cell_scaled_by_country","sample_n":6902},"experience_years_min":3,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[{"name":"Microsoft Office","optional":false}],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-13T08:05:40Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-13","last_verified_at":"2026-10-28T09:47:52Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":16,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":16},"description":"Field Services Representative - Eastern Europe\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS\nProvide technical support for the operation and installation of IFC and W-IFE products to SES' airline customers.\nReport to regional manager of EMEA Maintenance & Customer Operations.\nDevelop and maintain excellent working relationships with airline customers to achieve and maintain customer satisfaction goals as defined by SES Senior Leadership.\nWork collectively with the customer airline’s maintenance, engineering and planning teams to ensure all issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner.\nCoordinate with internal stakeholders in resolving problems and progressing projects to helpsmooth resolution and progress.\nAssist communication between Headquarters and customers to prevent conflicts and misunderstandingsas an intermediary to ensuresmooth communication.\nSupport all technical aspects of SES systems installed on the customer fleet, including but not limited to installation, preventative maintenance, fault isolation, troubleshooting, software loading, hardware replacement and fault rectification.\nProvide on-site technical supportof the IFCand IFE to airline or maintenance personnel.\nProvide internal and external reporting of all technical issues and resolution actions and escalate issues as appropriatein a timely manner.\nProvide technical support to airline customers and MROs on AMMs, Installation Drawing, Schematic, Service Bulletin, etc.\nSupport internal and external stakeholdersand coordinating between the two companies on technical and certification activities for STC System Installation or modification projects. \nMonitor the system performance daily, identify any malfunctions from the data, and take appropriate measures to correct the malfunctions.\nCOMPETENCIES\nComprehensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance including electrical and avionics systems.\nComprehensive knowledge of airline operations and EASAregulations.\nComprehensive knowledge of IFC and IFEis preferred.\nAbility to interpret all technical documentssuch as AMMs, Drawing, Schematic,Service Bulletin supporting the installation and repair of the IFCand IFEsystem.\nGood communication skills and strong customer service skills, familiarity with cultural etiquette, and international experience.\nExcellent written and verbal communication in Polish and business level English.\nWillingness and ability to learn new techniques and skills on one's own initiative.\nAbility to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally, for extended periods of time and on short notice.\nAbility to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and all shifts based on airline schedules and available aircraft ground times.\nQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE\nMinimum 3 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance including electrical and avionics systems on commercial aircraft.\nEASA Aircraft Maintenance certification is preferred.\nAbility to pass all background checks for the purpose of airport badging.\nComputer skills, including Microsoft Office.\nDriver’s license.\nKEY DELIVERABLES\nMaintain and improve IFC and IFE system availability and performance.\nImmediately repair any malfunctions occurring on the system on aircraft.\nMake system activation at every system installation successful.\n\nSES and its Affiliated Companies are committed to providing fair and equal employment opportunities to all.
