Working closely with SES verticals, engineering, operations and support teams; you will build context, provide service assurance and execute flawless product delivery. In this role, you will be instrumental in facilitating the inception, development and testing of new features prior to each release. You will also work alongside Product Managers to appropriately spec new products and move them through our Portfolio Strategy process.\nAs a Product Owner, you will lead highly collaborative, cross-functional Agile teams that deliver against overall SES business goals and product vision. Utilizing Agile / SAFe methodology, the Product Owner will collaborate closely with Product Managers, other Product Owners, Account Management, Development, UX Designers, Systems Engineering/Architecture, Quality Assurance, Dev Ops, and other key stakeholders and represent the team in various SAFe rituals. The Product Owner serves as the voice of the customer to the team and the organization as a whole.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS\nMeet with internal and external stakeholders, to build context and understand business requirements that will facilitate the development, release schedules and test plans\n\nEvaluate technical documentation and business requirements, for each project, in order to determine scope and Universal Application Testing timelines\n\nAnalyze design specifications and functional expectations to ensure specific test criteria, that you create with the stakeholders, are met to allow for a successful production release.\n\nWork directly with commercial stakeholders, OSS and BSS teams to ensure new features or products are delivered, and error free\n\nOversee the internal and external engineer’s development, of support and technical documentation\n\nCraft through release notes and other relevant documentation prior to each successful release\n\nCOMPETENCIES\nSupport and suggest improvements to an end-to-end development program with published cadences and management tracked via Confluence / Jira / Azure DevOps\n\nLead the execution of test strategies in concert with stakeholders\n\nFacilitate communication and plan execution across functional resources\n\nIdentify and communicate key development milestones and testing requirements in a timely manner\n\nCertify release candidates prior to code promotion enabling the SES future automation capabilities\n\nQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE\nA minimum of 3-years of recent, relevant experience in the development of new products, in areas that may include testing, requirements development and digital experience design for customer-facing tools.\n\nA degree in Business, Business Information Technologies, Telecommunications / Satellite Engineering\n\nProficiency in baselining, evaluating and demonstrating how product development metrics are used to improve product delivery speed, quality and profitability\n\nThe ability to build, administer and lead development lifecycle of products in Jira and Azure DevOps\n\nProject/program management skills\n\nThe ability to understand the customer's business strategies to become an advocate for profitability on behalf of the customer\n\nEffective English language skills both written and verbal\n\nShares knowledge, empowers and provides critical support to launch product on-time and within budget\n\nOTHER KEY REQUIREMENTS / COMMENTS\nLed a previous applications development / digital experience related program in the Satellite or Telecommunications industry.\n\nExperience leading User Acceptance Testing efforts in Jira and Azure DevOps\n\nDesigned and implemented a comprehensive testing strategy for a large software deployment\n\nWorked with different AI vibe-coding tools to deliver rapid prototyping solutions\n\nExperience working in experience design, journey mapping and connecting the needs of customer personas to value delivered through incremental product releases\n\nExisting SAFe Agile methodology experience\n\nSES and its Affiliated Companies are committed to providing fair and equal employment opportunities to all.
