This project is the European Union's answer to the pressing challenges of tomorrow to provide secure connectivity services and enhanced communication capacities to the EU and its Member States. In addition, as well as to governmental users, private companies and European citizens while benefiting from ensuring high-speed internet broadband to cope with connectivity dead zones.\nSES - together with other consortium partners and core members - was selected by the European Commission to build and to operate the IRIS2 multi-orbit satellite constellation.\nThe IRIS2 team enters next project phases, we seek and there is a strong need of support for all the activities around service provisioning and products that the system can offer in the future.\nROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY\nThe Programme Reporting & Governance Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and operation of the programme governance framework, including structured reporting, decision-making support, and governance compliance across all programme levels.\nThe role ensures that programme status, risks, changes, and performance indicators are consistently consolidated, clearly communicated, and decision-ready, enabling timely and informed governance at all levels.\nThis role acts as the central coordination point for programme reporting and governance execution, ensuring that no critical information, decision, or action remains unmanaged.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS\nGovernance Framework ExecutionImplement and maintain the programme governance structure, including boards, forums, and escalation paths\nEnsure that governance processes are consistently applied across all segments and partners\nSupport the preparation and coordination of:Programme Operations Management Board\nRisk & Change Board\nPlanning & Performance Reviews\nSteering Committee inputs\n\nProgramme ReportingDevelop and maintain the Programme Operations Management Pack (single source of truth)\nConsolidate inputs from:Delivery teams\nIntegration & Control functions\nSupport functions\n\nEnsure consistent, structured, and timely reporting of:Programme status\nRisks and issues\nChanges and impacts\nKPIs and performance indicators\n\nDecision Support & TraceabilityEnsure all governance forums are provided with decision-ready information\nMaintain:Decision logs\nAction tracking\n\nEnsure full traceability of decisions and follow-up actions\n\nCoordination & AlignmentAct as interface between:Programme Management Operations\nIntegration & Control disciplines (planning, cost, risk)\nPMT & Quality\nDelivery teams\n\nEnsure alignment between:Reporting outputs\nGovernance discussions\nActual programme status\n\nQuality & Consistency of ReportingDefine and enforce reporting standards, templates, and formats\nEnsure data consistency across:Schedule (IMS)\nRisk & Change registers\nCost and resource views\n\nDrive continuous improvement of reporting clarity and usability\n\nCOMPETENCIES\nStrong experience in programme reporting and governance in complex projects\nSolid understanding of:Programme management processes\nRisk, change, planning, and cost integration\n\nAbility to consolidate and communicate complex information in a clear and structured manner\nStrong coordination and stakeholder management skills\nHigh level of attention to detail combined with big-picture understanding\nExperience in multi-stakeholder or institutional programmes (ESA/EC) is a strong asset\nQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE\nUniversity degree in either Telecom, IT or Satellite Engineering\nMinimum 5 years proven professional experience in project management\nFluency in English, both written and spoken\nAny other European Language is considered an asset\nExperience in using MS Tools including MS Project\nStrong experience in project management and programme environments\nExperience in tool implementation and system integration\nProven experience in working with EU, ESA, and or national governmental institutions along ECSS standards\nPMP® Certification (nonessential)\nITIL® 4 Certificate (nonessential)\nOTHER KEY REQUIREMENTS / COMMENTS\nThe candidate must be eligible for a “SECRET” security clearance, in accordance with the national regulations as well as EU/ESA/NATO equivalents\nWilling to work 60% onsite from office\nTravel as required for project realization purposes\n\nSES and its Affiliated Companies are committed to providing fair and equal employment opportunities to all.
