This role serves as a strategic recruiting partner to hiring managers and business leaders, providing guidance on workforce needs, recruiting strategy, candidate assessment, market conditions, and hiring decisions. This role partners closely with Human Resources and business leadership on workforce planning, employer branding, recruiting analytics, vendor management, and may lead or mentor team members as the organization grows. In a fast-paced start-up environment, this role will need effective communication skills, the ability to excel under pressure, the ability to follow a task from start to finish, and excellent cross-functional team collaboration.\nRequirements\nPartner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop recruiting strategies, define candidate profiles, and establish hiring plans aligned with business priorities.\nProvide guidance to hiring managers on market conditions, candidate assessment, compensation negotiations, and effective recruiting best practices.\nManage full-cycle recruiting, coordination throughout the candidate lifecycle, including job postings, applicant tracking, offer coordination, interview scheduling, and candidate interview logistics, including transportation, lodging, and expense reimbursement, to ensure a smooth and compliant candidate experience.\nDevelop proactive sourcing strategies and talent pipelines, monitor recruiting progress, and address barriers to achieve current and future hiring objectives.\nContinuously improve recruiting processes, interview practices, assessment methods, and candidate experience standards by partnering with leadership on employer branding and communications.\nMonitor recruiting activity and hiring progress, identify barriers, and implement solutions to achieve hiring objectives.\nDevelop and analyze recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline activity, offer acceptance, and hiring outcomes.\nLead and support workforce planning activities by identifying future talent needs and developing corresponding sourcing strategies.\nManage relationships with external recruiting agencies, search firms, universities, professional organizations, and other talent partners.\nEvaluate external recruiting resources and vendor performance while managing associated costs and effectiveness.\nEnsure consistent and compliant recruiting practices in accordance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.\nSupport implementation and optimization of applicant tracking systems, recruiting technology, and related workflows.\nParticipate in additional Human Resources and organizational initiatives as needed.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.\n6+ years of progressive talent acquisition or recruiting experience, preferably within medical device, healthcare, biotechnology, life sciences, or another regulated industry.\nDemonstrated success recruiting across multiple functions and organizational levels, including technical, commercial, operations, clinical, and corporate roles.\nExperience serving as a consultative recruiting partner to managers and senior business leaders with demonstrated experience developing sourcing strategies and managing complex or difficult-to-fill searches.\nExperience utilizing applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing and recruiting platforms.\nExperience using recruiting metrics and market data to evaluate performance and inform hiring strategies.\nSkills and Abilities\nStrong strategic and consultative recruiting skills, excellent sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment capabilities.\nAbility to influence and build credibility with hiring managers and business leaders.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret recruiting metrics and identify trends.\nExcellent written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills.\nStrong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nSound judgment, professionalism, and discretion with confidential information.\nAbility to develop scalable processes and drive continuous improvement.\nAbility to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving organization.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to perform routine physical tasks, including lifting to 20 pounds.\nComfortable working in a sitting position and performing repetitive computer-based tasks.\nWork Location and Travel\nWe welcome remote applicants.\nCandidates who live within a 40-mile radius of our headquarters in Valencia, CA will be expected to follow a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, with approved remote workdays in accordance with company policy).\nMinimal travel opportunities based on interest and business need.\nCompany Description\nSetPoint Medical is a commercial-stage medical technology company dedicated to improving care for people living with chronic autoimmune diseases.\nDepartment: Admin\nReports To: HR Manager\nFLSA Status: Exempt\nIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
