You’ll work directly with clients to turn ambiguous business problems into AI systems that ship and hold up in production.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and build backend services and APIs that power AI features\nIntegrate and optimize LLMs from leading providers prompts, structured outputs, streaming, tool calling, cost/latency tuning\nDesign and build AI agents from single-purpose to multi-step, tool-using systems with the right balance of autonomy, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop\nDevelop tools and integrations that connect agents to real systems safely\nOwn model evaluation, drift monitoring, and AI observability eval suites, quality/latency/cost/safety tracking, regression detection\nChampion AI governance and responsible AI privacy, PII, access controls, audit trails, versioning\nImplement real-time and event-driven features where needed (e.g. WebSocket)\nCollaborate with the Data team on upstream data, vector indexes, and embeddings\nEstablish AI engineering best practices and mentor engineers\nConsult directly with clients on the right AI architecture\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.\n5+ years backend engineering, with 1-2 years shipping AI/LLM features in production\nStrong proficiency in a modern backend language with async programming (e.g. Python)\nWorking knowledge of relational and vector databases (e.g. pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant)\nProduction experience with commercial LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic) and RAG pipelines\nShipped AI agents or tool-using LLM systems in production with a view on when agents are the right answer\nPractical experience with LLM evaluation, drift detection, and observability (e.g. LangFuse, LangSmith, or in-house)\nAwareness of AI governance and responsible AI privacy, PII, versioning, auditability\nFamiliarity with LLM orchestration tooling (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalents)\nStrong API design fundamentals OAuth 2.0, rate limiting, retries, resilient integrations\nStrong written and spoken English\nGood to have\nAgent frameworks/protocols (MCP, OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph, CrewAI)\nAI risk/compliance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001)\nDocument processing for unstructured data (Docling, Unstructured, Tika)\nCloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP)\nMicrosoft Graph / SharePoint / PowerBI integrations\nConsultancy or client-facing background\nAbout Us\nSeven Peaks is a world-class technology company specializing in Digital Transformation for companies worldwide, delivering scalable software solutions and experience design, aimed at driving business impact.We are based in Bangkok, Thailand, with a growing team of more than 180 industry professionals from over 25 different countries currently providing end-to-end Digital Product services -
