below:\n\nJob Title: Finance Lead - Treasury \n\nLocation: Lagos\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nIndustry: FMCG\n\nJob Summary\n\n This role will support the organization’s cash management, banking operations, liquidity planning, and financial risk management activities.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nTreasury Postings & Ledger Management:\n\n Prepare and post treasury-related journal entries accurately and on a timely basis.\n\n Reconcile treasury and general ledger accounts and resolve identified discrepancies.\n\n Prepare periodic treasury and financial reports for internal and external use.\n\n Assist with periodic audits by providing required treasury documentation, schedules, and information.\n\nCash Flow Forecasting & Liquidity Management:\n\n Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and monitor actual cash flows against forecast.\n\n Oversee daily cash management to ensure adequate liquidity for operational requirements.\n\n Manage short-term and long-term funding requirements in line with the organisation's cash flow needs.\n\n Invest idle cash in accordance with approved investment policies and guidelines.\n\nTrade Transactions & Foreign Exchange (FX):\n\n Manage treasury-related trade transactions and ensure timely processing and settlement.\n\n Monitor and manage foreign exchange exposures and associated risks.\n\n Ensure FX transactions are conducted in accordance with approved policies, limits, and regulatory requirements.\n\n Stay abreast of developments in foreign exchange markets, treasury practices, and applicable regulations.\n\nDebt & Financial Risk Management:\n\n Negotiate favourable terms for credit facilities, loans, and other financing arrangements.\n\n Monitor compliance with bank covenants, loan agreements, and other financing conditions.\n\n Manage the organisation's borrowing portfolio and support effective debt utilisation and repayment planning.\n\n Identify, monitor, and mitigate financial risks arising from borrowing, liquidity, interest rates, and foreign exchange exposures.\n\nBank Relationship Management & Governance:\n\n Serve as the primary point of contact for all treasury-related inquiries and banking matters.\n\n Develop and maintain strong working relationships with banks and other financial institutions.\n\n Oversee banking relationships, account administration, and related treasury activities.\n\n Ensure compliance with banking requirements, internal treasury policies, and applicable financial regulations.\n\n Stay abreast of changes in treasury and finance best practices, regulatory requirements, and banking practices.\n\nRequirements\n\n Candidates should possess an HND/BSC with 5+ years of relevant treasury accounting experience\n\n Strong time management and
