The successful candidate will lead the design, development and operation of scalable Node.js services while guiding Flutter mobile development, cloud architecture, integrations, security and engineering best practices. Approximately 7080% of the role focuses on backend architecture, APIs, integrations and platform engineering, with the remaining effort supporting frontend/mobile delivery.\n\nExperience:\n\n- 8-12 years of professional software engineering experience.\n\n- Minimum 3 years as a Technical Lead, Lead Developer or Software Architect.\n\n- Experience delivering enterprise SaaS or HealthTech platforms in production.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\n- Lead architecture, development and optimisation of scalable Node.js/TypeScript backend services.\n\n- Design RESTful APIs, authentication, authorisation, microservices and event-driven integrations.\n\n- Guide Flutter mobile application development for Android and iOS.\n\n- Collaborate with Product Management, Technical Business Analysts, UX/UI, QA and DevOps to deliver high-quality software.\n\n- Own code quality, coding standards, pull request reviews and technical mentoring.\n\n- Design scalable database solutions using PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis.\n\n- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, monitoring and production support.\n\n- Optimise performance, reliability, scalability and cloud costs.\n\n- Work closely with the AI team to integrate LLMs, AI services and intelligent workflows.\n\n- Champion secure software development, OWASP practices and healthcare compliance.\n\nCore Technical Skills :\n\n- Expert Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js and asynchronous programming.\n\n- Flutter and Dart for cross-platform mobile development.\n\n- REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets and API Gateway.\n\n- PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis and database optimisation.\n\n- Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform (desirable) and containerised deployments.\n\n- Azure (preferred), AWS or GCP cloud platforms.\n\n- GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or equivalent CI/CD.\n\n- Microservices, event-driven architecture, message queues and distributed systems.\n\n- OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, Cognito/Entra ID and secure authentication.\n\n- Testing frameworks, performance profiling and production debugging.\n\nPreferred Experience :\n\n- HealthTech, EMR/EHR, Telehealth or regulated platforms.\n\n- FHIR, HL7 or healthcare interoperability.\n\n- LLM integration, MCP, AI APIs and vector databases.\n\n- Experience building highly available, enterprise-scale backend platforms.\n\nEducation :\n\n- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline.\n\n- Master's degree desirable.\n\n- Equivalent industry experience with an exceptional delivery record will also be
