SIMPL operates as a distinct business unit with dedicated pricing and go-to-market authority across two verticals: urban intersection management and interurban highway, tunnel, and tolling detection.\nThis position is not eligible for employment-based immigration sponsorship.\nAssociate Field Application Engineer\nWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associated Field Application Engineer to support our\nengineering and operations teams. This is a hands-on, entry-level technical position involving technical\nsupport, client interactions, equipment testing, quality assurance, deployment preparation, and AI data preparation.\nKey Responsibilities\n- Assist both clients and field engineers with troubleshooting and debugging hardware, software, networking, and system issues.\n- Prepare and perform initial QA checks on equipment and materials for customer deployments.\n- Test systems and equipment under various scenarios to evaluate accuracy, reliability, performance, and compliance.\n- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and document RMA/returned equipment.\n- Provide occasional remote technical support to customers and field personnel.\n- Document testing results, technical issues, and troubleshooting activities.\n- Label and annotate 3D point-cloud data used for AI/machine-learning training.\n- Review completed labeling for accuracy, consistency, and quality.\nQualifications\n- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong sense for customer service.\n- Degree or technical background in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field preferred.\n- Comfortable working with computers, networking, and electronic equipment.\n- Able to work within Linux environment.\n- Background and familiarity with test script writing preferred.\n- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.\n- Ability to follow technical procedures and accurately document results.\n- Familiarity with networking, AI/ML, LiDAR, 3D point clouds, or hardware testing is a plus.\n- Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is dependable, technically curious, hands-on, and\neager to learn.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their technical career to
