SIMPL operates as a distinct business unit with dedicated pricing and go-to-market authority across two verticals: urban intersection management and interurban highway, tunnel, and tolling detection.\nThis position is not eligible for employment-based immigration sponsorship.\nTechnical Program Manager\nTeam: Seyond ITS\nLocation: Sunnyvale, CA (onsite)\nType: Full-time\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a proactive Technical Program Manager to help drive cross-functional programs and initiatives from planning through execution.\nThis role requires someone who is comfortable working across different functions, quickly learning new areas, and taking ownership of problems that may not always have a clearly defined solution or owner. You will work closely with technical and business teams to align priorities, coordinate execution, identify and resolve issues, and ensure important initiatives move forward.\nThe ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and willing to take on a broad range of responsibilities as business needs evolve. Success in this role requires strong ownership, sound judgment, a collaborative mindset, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done.\nWhat You’ll Do\nProgram & Project Execution\nDrive cross-functional programs and projects from planning through completion.\nTranslate goals and requirements into clear plans, priorities, milestones, and action items.\nTrack progress, dependencies, risks, and open issues to keep initiatives moving forward.\nIdentify potential blockers early and proactively work with stakeholders to resolve them.\nManage multiple priorities and adjust plans as business needs change.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Business Development, Customer-Facing teams, Operations, and other stakeholders as needed.\nEnsure teams are aligned on objectives, responsibilities, priorities, timelines, and next steps.\nFacilitate effective communication and information sharing across technical and non-technical teams.\nHelp close gaps between teams and step in where additional coordination or ownership is needed.\nProblem Solving & Ownership\nTake ownership of ambiguous or complex problems and drive them toward resolution.\nGather information, identify root causes, evaluate options, and coordinate appropriate next steps.\nExercise good judgment when balancing priorities, resources, technical considerations, and business needs.\nFollow through on commitments and ensure important details do not fall through the cracks.\nLook for opportunities to improve processes, communication, and overall execution efficiency.\nCustomer & Business Support\nSupport customer-facing programs and activities when needed, including planning, coordination, issue resolution, and follow-up.\nHelp translate customer or business needs into clear internal requirements and actionable plans.\nCommunicate clearly and professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.\nSupport other business or operational initiatives based on evolving team priorities.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience in technical program management, project management, product operations, engineering, customer-facing technical roles, or a related field.\nStrong ownership mentality with a proactive, can-do approach.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity.\nStrong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.\nDetail-oriented while still able to understand the broader business and technical objectives.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively across different teams and functions.\nAbility to learn new technologies, products, processes, and business areas quickly.\nComfortable taking on responsibilities outside a narrowly defined job scope when needed.\nAble to work independently while knowing when to involve or escalate to other stakeholders.\nReliable follow-through and a strong sense of accountability.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with both hardware and software products.\nExperience coordinating technical projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.\nExperience in customer-facing or field-deployed technology environments.\nFamiliarity with transportation, IoT, sensing, infrastructure, or related technology industries is a plus, but not required.\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase salary range: $100,000 - $170,000 per year\nThe above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, annual base salary for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Seyond. We also offer an annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for equity (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
