This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with abundant prospects for career advancement.The \nShopper Risk Operations team lead directs the daily operations of the Shopper Risk Operations team. As team lead, you will be responsible for managing daily shopper risk and fraud prevention operations and team performance, analyzing trends and advising management, identifying process and product improvements, and making recommendations.\nMonday -Friday between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm - local time (Central time zone).\nThis will be a non-exempt/hourly position. Due to the requirements of the position, only English resumes will be accepted.\nWhat You'll Do:\nMeasure and track team and team member performance.\nEnsure adherence to department processes and company policies to meet performance metrics.\nAnalyze data to alert Risk Operations management on developing fraud trends, scam merchants, product features and processes that lead to disputes and chargebacks.\nIdentify and recommend process improvements and product enhancements to increase productivity and chargeback win rates while maintaining high quality standards.\nMaintain adequate staffing levels to ensure chargebacks are processed before response deadlines.\nAdvise on staffing as necessary based on incoming escalation volumes and complexity.\nCoach and advise team members by providing them with guidance and training resources for career development.\nWhat We Look For:\nMinimum two years management experience or relevant experience in managing an operations team in e-commerce or banking.\nBachelor’s degree in an accredited academic institution.\nProficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software, such as Google Suite or Microsoft Office.\nAbility to safeguard confidentiality of personally identifiable information (PII) displayed in documentation received and systems used.\nExperience in analyzing data and comfortable making impactful decisions in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment\nAttention to detail and ability to multitask\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills\nStrong business judgment and communication skills\nDemonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required; candidates must be comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication.\nPreferred Qualifications\nFour years of fraud prevention and/or chargeback processing experience\nTwo years of management experience in fraud prevention and/or chargeback operations.\nExperience in payment processing concepts and procedures.\nExperience in using chargeback or fraud case management software.\nAbout You:\nYou have relentlessly high standards - many people may think your standards are unreasonably high.
