Our vision is to become the leading authority for built environment maintenance that protects and enhances quality of life.\nAbout the role\nThe Development Project Coordinator is the central point for coordinating activity across Product and Platform Engineering, ensuring new products, enhancements, and support issues progress efficiently. Working closely with Engineering leads, the Product Business Analyst, and the Product Project Manager, you will maintain visibility of development activity, capacity, and risks, keeping work on track and the right people engaged. You will organise, track, and communicate activity, proactively manage day-to-day coordination, and escalate key decisions to Product or Engineering leads as needed.\nResponsibilities\nDevelopment Coordination\nCoordinate activity across Product and Platform Engineering, from initial intake through development and release.\n\nTrack work through the agreed engineering process, highlighting where activity is stalled or required steps are outstanding.\n\nMaintain delivery plans, milestones, actions and target dates.\n\nCoordinate agreed activities and hand-offs between teams.\n\nMaintain visibility of cross-team dependencies and follow up actions required to keep work moving.\n\nProactively track progress and flag blockers, risks or delays to the appropriate owner.\n\nFacilitate relevant planning and delivery meetings, ensuring actions and decisions are captured and followed through.\n\nMaintain clear and timely communication on development progress and upcoming activity.\n\nCapacity & Resource Coordination\nMaintain a consolidated view of development demand, capacity and current resource allocation across Product and Platform Engineering.\n\nWork with Engineering leads to keep resource availability, commitments and upcoming constraints visible.\n\nEnsure both planned development and unplanned defect/bug activity are reflected in capacity information.\n\nHighlight potential capacity constraints, resource conflicts and competing demands.\n\nProvide accurate capacity information to support prioritisation and resource decisions by Engineering and Product leads.\n\nSupport & Defect Coordination\nAct as the central Development coordination point for issues triaged by Support and escalated for defect/bug investigation.\n\nEnsure escalated issues enter the appropriate Development workflow and have clear ownership.\n\nTrack outstanding defects and follow up progress with the appropriate teams.\n\nMaintain visibility of status and expected resolution and ensure Support receives timely updates.\n\nFlag high-impact, ageing or blocked issues where prioritisation or intervention is required.\n\nEnsure the impact of unplanned support work on development capacity is visible.\n\nCross-functional Working & Reporting\nWork closely with the Product Business Analyst to ensure requirements and relevant documentation are available as work progresses into Development.\n\nWork with the Product Project Manager to provide visibility of engineering milestones, progress and risks that may affect wider launch and business-readiness activity.\n\nCoordinate engagement with QA, UI, Accessibility and other specialist resources at the appropriate points within the engineering process.\n\nMaintain an accurate view of delivery status, dependencies, risks, issues, actions and decisions.\n\nEnsure Jira and other agreed delivery tools remain accurate and up to date.\n\nProduce concise development updates and escalate matters requiring management decisions or intervention.\n\nWhat You Will Bring\nEssential\nDemonstrable experience in project coordination, project management, or similar roles, with a proven track record of taking ownership of coordination activity.\n\nProven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and proactively drive actions forward with limited supervision.\n\nExperience working within a SaaS/software development environment and a good understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile ways of working.\n\nExperience within an agency, systems integrator, consultancy or similarly delivery-focused environment.\n\nExperience coordinating multiple concurrent workstreams and cross-team dependencies.\n\nExperience supporting resource and capacity planning.\n\nStrong organisational skills and attention to detail.\n\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to chase actions, challenge constructively and escalate where required.\n\nExperience using Jira or similar development/delivery management tools.\n\nDesirable\nExperience working directly within a software Development or Engineering team.\n\nPrevious Business Analysis experience, or experience working closely with Business Analysts, with an understanding of the importance of discovery and clear requirements before development begins.\n\nExperience coordinating software defects and support escalations.\n\nExperience working across Product and Platform Engineering teams.\n\nExperience supporting the introduction or improvement of development
