To succeed in this role, you should know how to understand and document 'As-Is' data warehouse and examine new data system requirements and implement migration models.\n\nDuties : \n\n- Report into the Delivery Squad Product Lead.\n\n- Design and implement effective datawarehouse solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.\n\n- Examine and identify datawarehouse structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.\n\n- Assess datawarehouse implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.\n\n- Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.\n\n- Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.\n\n- Recommend solutions to improve new and existing datawarehouse systems.\n\n- Lead the data analysts in understanding 'As-is' data pipelines and databases, data warehouses at the entity and attribute levels.\n\n- Analyse and document the data lineage of data from source to target of 'As-Is' data environments.\n\n- Work with key data architects and lead a data analysts' team in defining the 'To-Be' data architecture.\n\n- Implement best practices in processing confidential and personal data and information according to guidelines.\n\n- Leading a Data Analysts team in evaluating data pipelines, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement.\n\n- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.\n\n- Leading on identifying data requirements analysis.\n\n- Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.\n\n- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.\n\n- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.\n\n- Working closely with clients, client data architects, and management.\n\n- Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior data analysts and architects.\n\n- Inputting into projects plans, risks and dependencies logs.\n\n- Prioritising initiatives based on data requirements needs and requirements.\n\n- Managing competing resources and priorities.\n\n- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of your work.\n\n- Educate staff members through training and individual support.\n\n- Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.\n\nExperience : \n\n- A minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture or a related field.\n\n- Practical AWS (primarily) or other public cloud data engineering experience (Azure, GCP).\n\n- Exposure to Data Vault principles.\n\n- Application of data governance (data lineage, data quality, cataloguing, etc).\n\n- Practical Knowledge of Snowflake (primarily), BigQuery, CosmosDB, databricks, Redshift.\n\n- Knowledge of ELT/ETL and data streaming engineering with relevant technologies (i.e. Kafka, dbt).\n\n- Evidential experience of data analysis and data modelling.\n\n- Extensive practical SQL experience.\n\n- Strong knowledge of datawarehouse structures.\n\n- Understanding of metadata standards.\n\n- Practical experience of data modelling standards.\n\n- Ability to work with technical stakeholders to assess potential risks.\n\n- Ability to analyse existing tools and data platforms and provide recommendations.\n\n- Demonstrated experience in working with large data sets and relational databases.\n\n- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.\n\n- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.\n\n- Experience in Confluence and Jira.\n\n- Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience.\n\n- Has
