This role supports the downstream refining operations by ensuring critical consumables are available for continuous production. The position requires strict adherence to safety standards for hazardous materials and accurate inventory control within our ERP system.\nThe Warehouse Supervisor will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager and will play a key role in maintaining operational continuity for the refinery. This position impacts production efficiency by minimizing stockouts and ensuring rapid processing of inbound logistics.\nKey Responsibilities\nThe following responsibilities define the core accountabilities for this position.\nInventory Accuracy Management\nThe role maintains inventory accuracy above 98% by conducting regular cycle counts and investigating discrepancies immediately.\nHazardous Material Compliance\nThis position ensures all chemical reagents are stored in compliance with SASO standards and MSDS requirements to prevent safety incidents.\nTeam Supervision and Rostering\nThe supervisor manages shift rosters for warehouse operators to ensure adequate coverage for 24/7 refinery operations.\nInbound Logistics Coordination\nThe role verifies incoming shipments against purchase orders and coordinates with customs brokers to clear goods efficiently.\nSafety Protocol Enforcement\nThis position enforces strict adherence to PTW and LOTO procedures during all warehouse and maintenance interactions.\nERP System Utilization\nThe supervisor processes all goods receipts and issues in the ERP system to ensure real-time visibility of stock levels.\nSpace Optimization\nThis role optimizes warehouse layout and bin locations to improve picking efficiency and maximize storage capacity.\nAudit Support\nThe position provides accurate documentation and physical verification support for internal and external audits.\nContractor Management\nThe supervisor oversees third-party logistics personnel to ensure they comply with SGR site access and safety rules.\nProcess Improvement\nThis role identifies bottlenecks in warehouse workflows and implements solutions to reduce handling time and errors.\nQualifications\n Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related technical discipline.\n Five or more years of warehouse supervision experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.\n Demonstrated knowledge of hazardous material handling and storage regulations.\n Proficiency in ERP systems such as Odoo and Jisr for inventory transactions.\n Understanding of Saudi Customs procedures and import documentation.\n Valid forklift certification and ability to train others on safe equipment operation.\n Fluency in English and Arabic for effective communication with staff and authorities.\n Ability to work in an industrial plant environment with associated physical demands.\nPreferred / Nice-to-have\n Experience in the mining, precious metals, or high-security logistics industries.\n Lean Six Sigma certification or proven track record in process improvement.\n Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality and environmental standards.\n Experience with automated warehouse systems and barcode technologies.\nSuccess Metrics\n Inventory accuracy rate remains at or above 98% throughout the fiscal year.\n Zero lost-time injuries or environmental spills occur in the warehouse area.\n Average time to receive and put away inbound shipments decreases by 15%.\n Physical inventory variance is maintained below 0.5% of total stock value.\n All warehouse staff complete mandatory safety and technical training on schedule.\n Saudization targets for warehouse roles are met in compliance with Nitaqat regulations.\n Internal audit findings related to warehouse controls are resolved within 30 days.\nEqual Opportunity Statement:\nSaudi Gold Refinery welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.
