Serving as the top-level techno-functional expert by helping the business on high-level specifications creation and anticipating problems of systems functionality, providing guidance and advisory regarding business requirements mappings.\nThe ASE plays a key role in ensuring standardized fit for purpose solutions within SGS for our Corp IT applications. Overseeing that the software development activities are carried out in accordance with SGS and best practice market standards. Executes the review of the application development activities and ensures that the related deliverables follow the appropriate quality, architecture and security rules and guidelines, overseeing the overall quality and fitness of the final products.\nThe ASE is responsible for providing effort estimates, validating 3rd party estimates and overseeing the activities of the development estimation process, validating and the required workload for the different phases of developments.\nWith your technical expertise and following market best practices, you will ensure that the technical designs of software developments are up to market & SGS standards, whether done internally or by a third party, working closely with the enterprise architecture department at SGS.\nResponsibilities\nProvide Global Solution Design leadership in the assigned processes. \nReview techno-functional documents, frameworks and strategies to meet the business and application requirements.\nReview data models and processes, working proactively with rest of the teams, in order to optimize architecture and to evaluate the performance and reliability of designs.\nCollaborate with requirements creation, use cases and models that map business strategy and needs.\nConsult with Global Process Owners, Business leaders and IT business representatives to ensure understanding of requirements and their alignment to future strategic direction of the business/function.\nProactively collaborates with implementation teams in coordination with other architects on the setup of processes to fulfil the agreed requirements.\nKnow in detail the reference standards & best practices defined by Enterprise Architecture and Security SGS departments, to ensure technical design quality and vulnerability compliance.\nValidate and enrich technical impact assessments.\nEnsure Technical coordination for deployment activities.\nDevelop and/or validate technical design for all application development activities.\nEnsures developments meet both the technical requirements as well as the operations requirements (such as security, availability, maintainability, and performance), for custom developed applications as well as standard package-based solutions and legacy applications\n Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s with relevant IT or Computer science background.\nRelevant experience managing requirements through the entire delivery and operational life cycle.\nMust have 5+ years of extensive knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite (on-prem) development tools and technical stack are a must (Oracle PL/SQL, APEX, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Applications Framework, Web ADI, Open Interfaces, Oracle XML Gateway, Integrated SOA Gateway and Oracle Workflow).\nExperience in Oracle eBusiness Suite Financials modules and Supply Chain & Manufacturing is a plus\nExperience in Oracle ERP Cloud rollout, integrations and extensions is certainly an added value\nRequired Skills\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nAble to build trust, respect and confidentiality.\nGood analytical and problem solving skills.\nProactive, able to take decisions and act independently.\nAbility and willingness to continuously learn and acquire new skills and competencies.\nDefining, controlling, and improving software life cycle processes.\nRisk management, quality, security, privacy and safety.\nBroad multi-technology knowledge.\nExperience with the tool set of development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, Lean) • System and software life cycle engineering.\n Why join SGS?\nOpportunity to work with a global leader in inspection, verification, testing, and certification.\nCollaborative and inclusive work environment.\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\nOpportunities for professional growth and development.\nJoin Us: At SGS, we are dedicated to fostering an open, friendly, and supportive culture that thrives on teamwork.
