Document and report audit activities and results Interact directly with clients at all levels of management in developing timely, complete, and accurate report of their current level of compliance or implementation of their management system. Provide timely and accurate reviews of client corrective action and closure Maintain appropriate audit credentials and pursue advancement of those credentials and other related credentials as needed.\nPerform certification audits in any capacity in conformance with the SGS Global/Local procedures, sector specific schemes/standards, ensure that such duties are performed in an efficient and commercially expedient way.\nUpon evidence gained during audits, provides with determination whether or not registration should be recommended or allowed to continue.\nAssimilates, understands and operates the SGS Certification System in all auditing activities. Liaises with the Product Managers, Technical Accreditation CBE and Manager, Technical Accreditation CBE regarding changes to its design and implementation.\nControls/oversees activities of teams of Auditors during the audit, as needed.\nCollaborates with teams of Auditors during the auditing activities.\nStrives to provide customers with sufficient audit experience to cover the whole of SGS’s Certification's accredited activities.\nAssists in the training of other Auditors and Senior Auditors during planned audits or during other training functions.\nActively participates in witness audits by SGS or accreditation bodies.\nMaintains all audit-related credentials.\nUndertake any other activities as directed by the Manager, Certification Audit CBE or Manager, Technical Accreditation CBE.\nAdheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nSupervises others: Yes, indirectly only - Leads Auditors at the times of audits\n Education and Experience\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent Industry experience.\n3rd party IATF Lead Auditor Current IATF Lead Auditor certification for ISO/IATF16949 and possess a 3-ADP# (5-ADP preferred).\nAble to walk and stand for up to 4 hours at a time and maneuver throughout multiple levels of client sites either by stairs or elevator.\nMust possess a valid driver’s license and can rent and drive a car and travel on public conveyances when required.\nStrong written and verbal English communication skills.\nMust be able to travel up to 100% of the time, including mostly overnight stays throughout the U.S.; often involving travel outside of normal working hours.\nTRAVEL\nTravels up to 80% of the time - automobile / airplane, some travel might be international with flight time 8+ hours depending on the destination.
