This role supports organizational goals by leading LIMS improvements, implementing new capabilities, managing client data transfers, and supporting various environmental monitoring systems. Additionally, the position plays a key role in acquisition integrations and business development activities.\nMonitor project progress and deliver status reports, timelines, issues, risks and action items to stakeholders and team members \nDevelop, maintain, and participate in project plan for lab implementation of LIMS system and projects enhancing functionality of LIMS system \nAssist in acquisition activities and lead LIIMS integration projects to ensure project deliverables are met \nUnderstands all applicable aspects of the project, including rationale for the project, regulations that affect the project, different methods employed by the client and laboratory to produce result - \nCoordinate implementation of quality software platform across all food laboratories and manage and communicate enhancements to the software package \nIdentify and implement efficiency improvements within the Laboratory Information Management System \nTrend, track and report operational KPI’s, quality parameters, errors and progress on projects to upper management \nMentor and train employees on LIMS functions; assess training needs and competencies across the business \n 4-year degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or closely related field \n7-10 years in a supervisory or Poject Managemnt role within a laboratory or equivalent \nStrong problem-solving and project management skills \nAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines \nExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams \nAbility to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment. \n SGS is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and as such we recruit, hire, train, and promote persons in all job classifications without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetics, status as a protected veteran, or any other characteristics protected by law.\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
