Key responsibilities include:\nLead and deliver small, medium, and large-scale instrumentation and gas analysis projects.\nDesign, build, install, and commission bespoke gas sampling, analyser, and CEMS systems, including hazardous area (ATEX) applications.\nDevelop engineering documentation, including design specifications, drawings, wiring diagrams, validation protocols, test documentation, and commissioning reports.\nProvide technical expertise and support to SGS engineers, affiliates, and customers globally.\nManage on-site installation and commissioning activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.\nDevelop control and automation strategies, with an understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, RS232, analogue and digital signals.\nWork within regulated pharmaceutical and industrial environments, ensuring compliance with GMP and relevant industry standards.\nSupport calibration, testing, and analytical activities, including the application of standards such as the European Pharmacopoeia.\nBuild expertise in gas analysis technologies and process applications across a range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, energy, industrial gases, semiconductors, and brewing.\nIdentify opportunities for business growth, support proposal development, and collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.\nChampion a strong safety culture and uphold SGS's commitment to integrity, quality, equality, and professional conduct.\n Level 7 or level 8 Engineering Degree.
