Technician will run the day-to-day operations of the IT section of SGS MCNet under the supervision of systems supervisor.\nResponsabilities\nPlatform Operations and Enhancements;\nEquipment testing and system programming/configuration\nMonitoring services of Data Centre, Disaster Recovery, SGS MCNet Office and serviceable Remote sites\nPlatform demos and training to end users\nOperate trouble ticketing and other Operational support systems\nSupport the IT department with server and PC configurations in systems deployment, correction, and termination.\nSupport of users\nAttend to any other assignment as may be given to him from time to time;\nBe accountable for the safeguarding the security of information within their custody\nEnsure sufficient qualified staff to maintain the MCNet Single Electronic Window and all supporting back-office IT services.\nComplete all mandatory training lunched in SGS campus related to IT Security Awareness and data safeguard.\nOperate and maintain on a day-to-day basis the company’s main and disaster recovery datacenter.\nManage the specialist IT staff responsible for maintaining the applications and servers hosted within the company’s IT infrastructure.\nPlatform support and enhancements;\nCreating, solving and closing trouble tickets from system related issues;\nLiaison with platform providers and clients on platform queries;\nwork hand in hand with Network team to ensure smooth operations for both the data centre and SGS Mcnet offices;\nProvide it support to clients and staff;\nMaintenance of It infrastructure;\nQA/QC on platform registrations of installations;\nRegistrations of installations on SGS platform and the main platform;\nHelp develop platform FAQS from troubleshooting;\nMake site visits to clients to explain platform functions as necessary;\nKeep attend to any other assignment as may be given to him time to time;\n Honor Degree in information security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics.\nDiploma in Technical related field from a recognized institution.\nPreferred Certification/ in ISO 9001 and 27001\nITIL and A+ Certification.\nExpirience\nA minimum of 4 years in similar
