Our 93,000 employees operate a network of 2,600 offices and laboratories, working together to enable a better, safer and more interconnected world.\n Primary Responsibilities\n Support the maintenance, enhancement and daily operation of the site's internally developed application\nthrough SQL queries, database programming and scripting.\n Understand requirements and deliver data extraction, processing and reporting solutions.\n Contribute to Computer System Validation (CSV) activities, ensuring the application and its data remain\ncompliant with GxP and data integrity requirements.\nSpecific Responsibilities\n Write, test and optimize SQL queries, views, stored procedures and functions supporting application features,\ndata requests and reports.\n Develop and maintain Perl (or similar) scripts for data processing, automation of recurring tasks and data\nimports/exports from flat files and Excel.\n Investigate and resolve application and data issues reported by users; document root cause and corrective\nactions.\n Perform data quality checks and reconciliations; support data corrections and migrations under change control.\n Support CSV activities across the system lifecycle: draft and execute test scripts (IQ/OQ/PQ, UAT), record test\nevidence, log deviations and maintain traceability matrices.\n Apply data integrity principles (ALCOA+) and 21 CFR Part 11 / EU GMP Annex 11 requirements for audit trails,\nelectronic records and access controls.\n Follow change and version control practices; prepare and maintain technical documentation (data models,\nspecifications, change records, user guides, SOP inputs).\n At all times, complies with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct. Remains familiar with SGS quality\nassurance procedures.
