sustainability.\n Conduct routine laboratory safety inspections.\nMonitor hazardous chemical management system as per applicable legal & other requirements\nAbide to laboratory-specific safety procedures as applicable\nEnsure that Incident Investigation is in place across laboratories and the availability of necessary records\nMonitor & coordinate potential emergency preparedness response within the scope of laboratory activities\nProvide laboratory safety training, inductions, and refresher programs for employees, students, contractors, visitors.\nEnsure availability, suitability, and correct use of PPE based on risk management\nConduct laboratory safety audits, inspections, and regulatory authority visits wherever required\nOrganize and participate in safety awareness campaigns and promote a proactive laboratory safety culture.\nCoordinate and facilitate OHS Committee meetings in collaboration with OHS Representatives.\n Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety/ Chemistry/ Microbiology/ Environmental Science, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 3-5 years of experience in laboratory safety, HSE, or regulated laboratory environments.\npreferred knowledge of laboratory safety regulations, chemical safety, biosafety, Compressed gas safety and waste management practices.\nWorking knowledge of ISO standards such as ISO 45001 and relevant local regulatory requirements.\nFamiliarity with MSDS/SDS management, chemical compatibility, and emergency spill response.\nProfessional certifications in Laboratory Safety, HSE, or related fields (preferred).\nProficiency in MS Office and safety reporting tools\nFamiliarity with Ministry of Education (MOE) guidelines, ADOSH codes, Civil Defence codes and other relevant local authority
